Port Townsend

So I'm up here in Port Townsend, Washington. I'll be shooting Cameron and Tiffany's wedding tomorrow, but I wanted to share with everyone how cute a cabin they've put me up in. It may look humble (but well kept) on the outside, but on the inside--I've not wanted for anything. Outlets galore for all my camera and computer gear, even wireless internet access. All of this in a place that leaves my GPS struggling to find roads. So cool. Thanks, Cameron! Anyway, more to come. Here are some shots of where I'm staying at Chevy Chase Cabins.

Anna and Tim

On the Go with Kacy Jo

On Sunday I helped out my friend and colleague Kacy Jo with a wedding out toward Blue River. Four hours of driving, 530 lbs. or so of cooked chicken and a few mosquito bites later, we came away with some great shots of Chet and Livia's wedding. It was great talking with Holly, our third photo amigo for the day (best of luck for your August weddings, Holly!).

Finally, big BIG props to Kacy's boyfriend Mitchell for being our wheelman!

Jenny and Mike

I had the honor of taking pictures for Jenny and Mike's wedding on Saturday at BeckenRidge Vineyard. I happened to run smack dab into a parade in downtown Dallas, but thanks to my trusty GPS navigator, I was able to make it work. Things went great. I also had a chance to catch up with the officiant, Sally Andrews and the DJ for the evening, Kevin Venables.

Can't wait to work on the rest of these shots in the coming weeks. Congrats Jenny and Mike!

Stefani Revisited

Things have been absolutely busy and packed lately, but in a good way. In my never-ending quest to improve my craft and approach in getting the best images to you as possible, I've applied some new post-processing skills to a portrait of my friend Stefani I took a little over a year ago. Camas and Gretchen
