Friday with The Badfish Band

First off, I love shooting pictures of live music -- and I mean almost to an embarrassing extent. So when Johnny D brought me on board to help shoot a live set of The Badfish Band on Friday at Mt. Tabor Legacy, I was ridiculously stoked.

If you haven't heard The Badfish Band playing around Oregon before, I suggest you check them out -- they have a great, positive sound and energy about them on stage. Anyway, hopefully you'll enjoy the shots as much as I enjoyed taking them. Cheers everyone!

Amy - Senior Portrait Session

It seems the weather gods smiled upon us again over this weekend. Saturday morning was a little soppy, but by mid afternoon things had lightened up just enough to have a great meet up with Amy, her mother and her sister in Washington Park.

Lacey and Robby - Engagement Session

I met up with Lacey and Robby at Log House Gardens for their engagement session. Timing worked out perfect and we missed the torrential downpour that hit during lunchtime.

Carlos and Dawn - Family Portrait Session

This past weekend I met up with Carlos and Dawn at Washington Park in Portland. They'd made a day trip up from Corvallis with the young ones for some family portraits and we had a great time getting shots amongst all of the fall colors.

Josh - Senior Portrait Session

I met up with Josh in the Pearl District for a Senior Portrait shoot late this past week. We caught a (sort of) break in the rain, so we used the opportunity to take advantage of the cloudy weather and bring in some remote light work. This really helped add some punch to some of the shots, and I'm really happy with how they've turned out, especially with some of them reprocessed in black and white. It's a continuation of the "urban" feel trend. Anyway, enjoy!

Brandy and Jake

Shot pictures for Brandy and Jake's wedding this past weekend in Brownsville. Good times had by all!
