Kelsi - Model Shoot

Met up with Kelsi and Aimee this morning at the studio for some really fun shots. I brought along my mobile strobe lights (woo, Pocket Wizards!) so we took the shoot outdoors and I'm really happy with how the shots look. I love the personality and energy Kelsi brought to the table. Darrin - Yes, that's your guitar!

Robin - Bridal Fashion Shoot

I'd been working on organizing this bridal photo shoot for a few weeks, and I'm pretty darn happy with how the shots are turning out! It certainly was a very fun experience coordinating all of the elements involved.

Tim, my good colleague and cohort from Digital Works Productions, was on hand to contribute creative ideas as well as document the shoot on video.

Aimee was extremely enthused to contribute her makeup talents, and Robin was our awesome model.

Special thanks to Helena of Ania Bridal in downtown Portland who was generous enough to loan us a pair of wedding gowns by Augusta Jones.

Laura - Model Photo Shoot

This week I met up with Laura, a model and former OSU volleyball player, for a photo shoot in the brand new studio space I have access to. Aimee, who had originally contacted Laura, is an amazing Portland-based makeup artist. Look for more shoots featuring her makeup artistry very soon!

Sam and Clinton - Wedding

I had the opportunity to shoot pictures for my two very good friends, Sam and Clinton, last week in Astoria. The ceremony was held on the rooftop garden of the Hotel Elliott, a beautifully restored establishment in the heart of town. Things worked out great, the snow, hail and rain let up; good times had by all.

Addison - Family Portrait

I shot pictures of my cousin, Morgan's new infant Addison several weeks ago. Things got pretty gnarly weather wise in Oregon before my trip back home so I finally got the shots to them today. For my family back home, yes, here are the shots! All together now--aaawww.

Mokihana -- Model Session

Hey everyone,

It's been a bit since I've last posted. I've been back home in Hawaii for the holidays. While I was home I was able to collaborate with a local model named Mokihana. For those of you back home, she's currently on the cover of Oahu Weekly. She's incredibly laid back and a joy to work with. She'll use the shots from this shoot to help updated her portfolio. Take care and Happy Holidays everyone!

Joe - Senior Portrait Session

I went out to meet with Joe and his family at their home in Tigard on Monday. The cloud cover provided for some great even lighting. Things have been working out well as we've sort of eased into a mild winter so far. We managed to get a good amount of shooting in before the rain started. Luck was on hand yet again!
