Kelsey and Tim - Engagement Session

Tim, Kelsey and I really caught a lucky break in the weather on Sunday afternoon for their engagement pics. Fun times. Their wedding will be coming up this summer out in Hood River, I love it out there and am looking forward to it.

Client Access Galleries!

So great news on my business end. I am now proud to announce that I have a new Client Access feature for my online services. This means wedding, portrait and event clients will now have access to their final, full-size images online from anywhere!

I think this works great, especially for wedding couples since now they can share the link to their gallery with their family, friends and other wedding guests abroad. From the gallery, friends and family can also order their own prints from the big day, right online, woo!

To respect the security and privacy of clients, most of the galleries posted will be password protected, but if you're a wedding guest for any of the ones I've shot in 2009 so far, the images are up, so by all means please contact me for the password.

This is a service I have seen with a few other wedding photographers. It's always seemed like a great additional service, and now I think I've finally found an online image hosting service that's best for folks I shoot pics for. It may seem pretty clean and simple, but believe me I've really put a lot of time into the HTML and CSS this week running on the back end. Programming is not my forte, so it took me a bit longer, haha.

Oh, not to mention that linking to shots posted on this image host site, totally bumps up the size of photos I can display here on the blog -- sweet!

A Fashion Show for a Good Cause

This past Saturday I donated some of my time and services to help out with a Benefit Fashion Show. The event was organized by a mother-daughter team and all proceeds went toward Yellow Brick Road, a shelter for runaway teens in Vancouver, WA.

Anyway, it felt pretty good donating my time for a good cause, plus the fashion show itself - themed after "The Wizard of Oz" - was quite fun to shoot. Also, Leanne Marshall, the New York Fashion designer and winner of Project Runway Season 5, was on hand to showcase some of her work and act as a special guest judge.

Well, I've posted some of the shots here. But given that this was a freebie, feel free to see ALL of the high res shots at http://www.peterchee.com

Cheers!
